garden talks, workshops & events
There’s always something special going on at Rockledge Gardens!

useful information
Unless noted otherwise, all talks and events meet in our Harry and Mary Witte Learning Center. The Farm Market is held in the red building. No pre-registration is required for our garden talks; fees (if any) are indicated in the event listings. Fees for “Make-n-Take” workshops, Little Bugs sessions, and some special events are listed; please note that because we purchase materials for these workshops based on how many people are signed up, pre-registration and pre-payment are required. We can only give refunds (less service fees) if we are notified of cancellation at least 72 hours in advance of the class.Planning an event? Rockledge Gardens is a stunning venue for weddings, fundraisers, corporate events, and more! More information on our private rentals page, or email [email protected]

CLASSES & EVENTS: Sunday, November 8, 1pm. Virtual Panel: Environmentally Minded Planting. One of the best things about living in Brevard County Florida is all the natural beauty surrounding us! It’s important that we all do our part to ensure that this natural beauty is maintained for generations to come. Join us as a panel of experts including Sally Scalera (University of Florida/IFAS), Nicole Broquet (Marine Resources Council), and Scott Herber (Eastern Florida State College) discuss planting and landscaping for sustainability in Brevard. Learn what these organizations’ strategies are for preserving the Indian River Lagoon and surrounding environment that make the Space Coast Special. Send us your questions via Facebook or Instagram! This event is free but donations are welcome. Donations for this event will be split between UF/IFAS, EFSC, and MRC.
