our plants & more
Rockledge Gardens has all you need for gardening right here in our lovely central coastal area of Florida — from orchids, annuals, and perennials to fruit and shade trees; from containers and fountains to environmentally sound pest-control solutions.
annuals & perennials
This area is the focal point of our garden center — overflowing with colorful, seasonal flowers, vegetables, and herbs. Annuals and perennials provide beautiful accents for your landscape and are the main ingredient for gorgeous container gardens and hanging baskets. Rockledge Gardens also has a great selection of flowers and host plants to attract butterflies.
shrubs, vines & groundcovers
This area provides the staple plants for any landscape foundation — including evergreens, flowering shrubs, and beautiful tropical plants such as crotons, hibiscus, and bougainvillea. You’ll also find a variety of groundcovers, which are a popular alternative to lawns and can help in weed control. And for beautiful additions to fences, trellises, and arbors, be sure to explore our selection of vines.
palms & bamboo
Rockledge Gardens provides a complete selection of palms and bamboo that grow well in Brevard County, including Pygmy date, foxtail, silver Bismarckia, and adonidia palms; and wamin, hawaiian stripe, and timber bamboo.
fruit trees & plants
What’s a Central Florida yard without a citrus tree? Nothing beats the taste of fresh citrus, and Rockledge Gardens carries a large assortment, including many varieties of oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, lemons, and limes. We also have a great selection of tropical fruits like mangoes, avocados, bananas, guavas, and tropical cherries, as well as varieties of blueberries, grapes, peaches, and apples — all tried and true for growing in Brevard County!
Trees add value to your property and beauty to your landscape, and can help to cool your home. Rockledge Gardens carries a large selection of shade and flowering trees, including tabebuia, oaks, magnolias, orchid trees, crape myrtles, and royal poincianas.
Our beautiful greenhouse is filled with foliage plants suitable for indoors, on patios, or in shady areas of your garden. You’ll also find an ever-changing selection of elegant orchids, African violets, bromeliads, and ferns, plus cactus and succulents, miniature plants for terrariums and fairy gardens, and a beautiful array of hanging baskets.
tools, gifts & garden accents
The “garden barn” is our display area for gardening tools and drip irrigation supplies, gifts for gardeners, and seasonal garden accents — including gloves and hats, wind chimes, wrought-iron planters, fire pots, gazing balls, and fairy garden accessories.
pottery, fountains & statuary
Our courtyard area features a large collection of pots, including terra cotta, Mexican pottery, and containers in a huge variety of colorful glazed finishes. Throughout this area you’ll also find a lovely selection of statuary and fountains.
nutrition & pest control solutions
A secret to a beautiful garden is tending to the nutritional needs of your plants and protecting them from diseases and insects. Rockledge Gardens believes in environmental responsibility when tending to the garden, and we provide a great selection of natural and organic fertilizers and pest controls.
mulches & rocks
Rocks and mulches can provide impressive finishing touches to any landscape. We carry nearly a dozen types of rocks and mulches; two customer-favorite mulches, mini pine bark and red mulch, are available in bulk.
soil & soil amendments
Preparing your beds properly is the first step in successful gardening. Rockledge Gardens carries a choice of planting media, including formulations of Fafards and Foxfarm soils, as well as our own Rockledge Gardens soil mix, a proven favorite for our Brevard County growing conditions that’s available in both bags and bulk.
We are delighted to partner with Aquascape, Inc. to bring an incredible selection of ponds, waterfalls, streams, and fountains to Brevard County. Enjoy the tranquil beauty of our display garden where flowing water, active aquatic life, natural stone, and lush plantings combine into a transporting environment.
